Bill has worked for CIVIL CONSULTANTS seasonally during the 1993 through 1998 field seasons on surveys of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail Exterior Corridor Boundary. He has now joined the staff full-time. His duties have been primarily performing field traverses and preliminary traverse calculations. Bill has also performed some line marking and monumenting on these contracts.

More recently, Bill has joined the firm full time at our South Berwick office, where he has conducted field surveys relating to site development, boundaries and road reconstruction. He continuously demonstrates exceptional drive; as a result, he has often been the target of joking that "despite his advanced years, he outperforms his juniors."

Bill brought considerable experience as a surveying technician to this firm. From 1976 to 1992, he worked for Robert G. Beers, surveyor, of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. While with that firm, Bill performed office and field work throughout the Pocono area. His activities included the following: layout and supervision of more than 50 subdivisions, farm and house lot surveys, registry research, topographic surveys, wetlands surveys, flood study surveys, building and road layout, surveys and photogrammetric control surveys.

From 1972 to 1976, Bill worked for another Pennsylvania surveying firm, Michael J. Baker, Inc. During this period, while employed by Baker, Bill performed surveys for Pennsylvania Power & Light Company. As a crew chief, he executed the following surveys throughout eastern Pennsylvania: Field traversing of property lines, roads and railroads to establish the centerline of high voltage power lines; construction stakeout for power lines and substations; topographic surveys for high voltage substations.

From 1969 to 1972, Bill worked for A.W. Martin Associates as a surveying technician.
