Mike joined CIVIL
CONSULTANTS in February 2006 but was previously employed here from June 1978
to March 1990 as a survey crew chief and project manager.
Mike enjoys spending time in the outdoors hiking, bicycling and with his
photography. He has volunteered
on trail crews in
Vermont
,
West Virginia
and
Tennessee
assisting with the maintenance and building of the
Appalachian Trail
. Mike has summated on 77 of the
100 highest peaks in New England and is currently section hiking the Long
Trail in
Vermont
, having completed 161 of the 272 mile trek.
As a means towards sharpening his map and compass skills and
familiarity with GPS, Mike has begun bushwhacking to trail-less peaks in the
New England
region.
As a bicyclist, Mike raised more than $1,200 for the American Diabetes
Association on the 75-mile Southern Maine Tour De Cure.
